Crazy Bangkok

If I had to sum up Bangkok in three words it would be; smelly, dirty and crazy. You would think this means that I didn’t enjoy my recent trip there, but I really did like it! Having said that it isn’t a place for the faint hearted or ‘princessy’ girls.

I was so close to trying to swap off my Bangkok when I first saw it on my roster, it has a reputation as being a very difficult flight as it is really long and you are apparently kept busy the entire flight with people wanting booze. I am so glad that I didn’t, the flight wasn’t bad and I had a fantastic time when I got to Bangkok. We get 2 nights, which is great because it gives you a nice amount of time to explore. On arrival day pretty much all of the crew went to sleep, I wasn’t tired at all though so after showering and pottering around my room I headed out to have a look around.

Dubai

Dubai is a new destination to my fleet, it came over in April. When we were told that we would be getting it pretty much all the crew were ecstatic and bidded for it. I on the other hand didn’t really care and so didn’t bid for it, I obviously then got given 2 which annoyed a few of my friends who didn’t get it!

Atlanta, Georgia

I’ve been to Atlanta twice now, and I have to say that I really do like it. The weather is nice and warm, the people are friendly and the hotel is in a pretty good location.

On my first trip most of the crew and I decided to go to the Coca Cola factory, I didn’t actually know until I was researching things to do that Atlanta was home of Coke! Continue reading

Left My Heart In Tokyo

Tokyo is without a doubt my absolute favourite destination since coming online, it is truly incredible! I was lucky enough to be rostered a trip in February and I am itching to go again, but it moves to another fleet in July so my chances are pretty slim 😦

I am rubbish at remembering in exact detail what I get up to on my trips and I went in February, so this isn’t going to be an in-depth travel report or anything.

I was lucky enough to spend 2 nights in Yokohama which is about 45 minutes away from Tokyo if I remember correctly. I spent the first day in Yokohama, I didn’t really do much as I was feeling pretty tired after a long flight. I pretty much just had a little look around before going back to the hotel to freshen up before heading out for dinner and drinks with the crew.

May’s Roster

Hey! I thought I would let you know where I will be heading off to in this month 🙂

Dubai – this will be my 3rd time

Abuja – 1st time not sure what to expect tbh!

Joberg – think this will be my 5th visit!

Budapest – just a there and back which is disappointing as I’ve always wanted to visit

Bangkok – I am kinda dreading this one as I have been told that the flight is pretty awful, eeek!

Even though the flight to Bangkok is apparently one of the most demanding, I am really looking forward to going. If only to try the satay haha! If you have any tips please share them 🙂

I also have a 3 day block of availables which I am going to phone up before hand and beg for a trip lol.
